CEREC
3D
CEREC
stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics.
The 3D portion refers to the way the device operates. The
CEREC 3D is a high-tech instrument that helps dentists restore
damaged teeth and performs various procedures such as partial
and full crowns, veneers and other single-tooth restorations.
The device allows Dr. Haag to view, manipulate
and verify all aspects of tooth restoration and design using
a mini tooth camera that projects images onto a small computer
screen. It enables Dr. Haag to guarantee accuracy and assurance
of an ideal fit before proceeding to the restorative process.
CEREC 3D allows for several advantages:
- Dr. Haag can perform the restoration in a
single session using CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer
Aided Manufacture) technology
- there is no need for Dr. Haag to make an
impression and send it to a lab
- you will not have to wear temporary restorations
that can fall out
- you do not need to return a second time
to cement the final restoration. No second shot of anesthetic.
- the color and appearance of the special ceramic
material allows it to blend with your teeth
- ceramic material is biocompatible, high-grade,
anti-abrasive and plaque-resistant
- there are no metal and no silver-colored
fillings
- Dr. Haag can save more of your healthy tooth.
CEREC protects and preserves you own tooth’s structural
integrity
- Maximum strength, great looks!
